NextGen is the modernization of the National Airspace System to address the nations need for increased airspace capacity and efficiency. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) is one of FAA's key partners in this important and far-reaching aviation initiative. The intended results of this effort include a reduction in fuel consumption, carbon emissions, noise footprint, and travel time— and will directly benefit consumers.
