@Ashloomis yeah too bad the sequel got canceled

@Ashloomis I have to COMPLETELY disagree with you on The Dark Knight, there really isn't a whole lot about it that's over stylized, and there isn't much "over-the-top action movie" stuff. It's a lot of dialogue, and it's as down to earth as a Batman movie could be. It's not even really the same type of movie as Unbreakable. Anyway, I understand your point with Kick Ass and Watchmen though, two completely mishandled movies. It's a shame that M.Night has become such a one-trick pony.

One of his best three movies in his filmography... After Signs, things started to go down... REALLY BAD.

@Ashloomis I know yout were expecting this reply. im with you on kick ass and watchmen but man The Dark Knight was not much action packed too. it was also realistic like unbreakable and it also had true meanings of being a hero in an epic way. anyway no offence to you. i replied coz i'm inspired greatly by both Chris Nolan and M.N.Shyamlan(who's from my country actually). i cant tolerate the critism of any of them.
You know what's funny? These days, you get stuff like Kick Ass, The Dark Knight, and Watchmen (the movie, not the comic) that claims to be superheroes in the real world. But it's all done in such a stylized, over-the-top action movie way, you can't believe it despite the characters having no powers. And then Unbreakable comes along ten years earlier, and it's about a superhero with powers, yet it feels real because it's done in such a low-key, down-to-earth way.

I had my first date ever with the first girl I ever kissed on the opening night of this movie haha, still remember it, November 22, 2000. Ah, childhood. Truly excellent movie, and I wish Shyamalan would do an Unbreakable 2, as has been rumored (and he stated he wanted to work on a second one).
