Endangered species are being killed off, and "farms" that raise animals slaughter them for fashion, using barbaric means. Being human means being humane and ethical, to your dog, your cat, and to all animals.
The day after Thanksgiving, while many were shopping, anti-fur marchers walked from Lord & Taylor's to MACY's for a three hour vigil to raise awareness of animal cruelty in the name of vanity. Very few people shopping were wearing fur, a sign that humans are becoming more humane every year.

  • I'm not into hurting animals, but when I think of all the suffering children on this earth, it makes the efforts of these people seem stupid and senseless. Put all of that passion into saving children and the worls will be a better place.

There are all kinds of charities and concerns in the world. Would you tell someone raising money for Down Syndrome that Cancer is more important? Or Alzheimer's Research is less of an issue than saving kids? World hunger vs Zero population growth? The important thing is to find a good cause and do something rather than nothing.

  • That was a great demo. The sad part is that I did see people with fur on Madison Ave and Union Square this week. :(. Compassion is the Fashion. Fur hags=cruelty without beauty
