Review of The Debt. I have no idea what the tinking noise is. It's something in the camera software.

  • I know nothing about that movie but I will say I would never pay that kind of money to see a movie, the last time I went to a movie was when "Titanic" came out.

I wait untill the movie comes out on DVD, movie theathers today are rip off's.

I waited for "Grand Toreno" to come out on DVD and bought it, I can watch it often as I like.

  • @old64goat

    You are correct sir.

For this movie, I expected a classy spy genre movie. Instead it was a steaming dog turd.

I have the entire collection of the 1966-1973 Mission Impossibles. Anyone of them was more intelligently done than this movie.

  • @old64goat I agree bill, entertainment costs too much.

I'm glad that James Bond stuck to the mission - and did not mess with the girls, heh heh heh.

If this movie was anything like Austin Powers, it had to suck.

The last spy spoof that I liked was SPY HARD way back when.

The worst spy spoof was with Phyllis Diller and Jayne Mansfield called FAT SPY.

When I was a kid, I liked MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. and I SPY.

  • @umajunkcollector I love James Bond movies,(well except for some Roger Moore ones). James Bond was over the top a lot, but we all knew he was fictional and we had fun watching these movies. He got he girl AND the villian

This movie The Debt, pretends to be a quasi-true movie. That what makes it really suck. Like I mentioned. no way in hell would the Israelis send 3 homone rich 20 year olds who are itching to start a romantic triangle to capture one of the most notorious Nazi monsters ever.

  • @Lockemeister A lot of the movies are written to make money = lots of S&V, and otherwise they stink. Good writers have gone by the wayside. A good example would be Get Smart by Mel Brooks. Would you believe... he got Agent 99?

  • @rich6955 it "just" cost us $23:50 for both of us to see this turd.

I think the moral of the movie was don't lie and make a book about a secret spy mission because the scar on your face will never heal. What I wanted to see was a thriller spy movie, not some morality play.

If I got popcorn and candy it would have been 60 bucks. You have the right idea. Theatres will probably go the way of the dinosaur in the next 10-20 years when the 3 D experience moves to the home and costs comes down.
