@Mozart99900 Yes he did. When I was a ween, I bought my sister a cheap boxed set of the Beethoven. After the set passed back into my collection, I finally got how it was supposed to be played. Von Karajan took the Berlin and made them play all the notes, didn't leave any mud behind on the transitions, yet kept the understanding of the music left to him (still think his predecessor did the better 7th, though). Nothing here to separate to two B's.

Well I think she didn't decline at all, I like more how she plays the tchaikovsky violin concerto now than back in the 90s with karajan.
