You can find these at Radio Shack or like at a Lowes or Home Depot in the electrical wiring section.

Are the wires cut to exact length from the original cutting or from the point of insulation (after the stripping)?

Thanks. I just found these being sold on ebay for $9.95 + shipping! Now I've saved 1/2 of the price of the Diamond antenna I am going to buy anyway. Does this help the Diamond? Will it help a hand held scanner?

Thanks for a very helpful video how-to, Jerry! One question: When you cut the wire, did you measure the length of the wire, or the insulation? In other words, do you count the small length of wire inside the lug?
