  • The prooth that white guy can be one of the best !

  • @bordertown There's plenty of people who watched both play that have said that. But I see your point. I bet Lebron would have a few championships if he had McHale and Perish on his team all these years. Instead the second best player on his team up until last year has been Mo Williams who isn't even an all star. Yet Lebron still averaged an impressive 7 assists.

  • @xSportsKingx

I just thought saying Lebron is a more athletic Bird was a bit of a stretch because they dominate in different ways. Anyone who watched Bird play wouldn't say that and there's to this than just looking at stats. That's all I was trying to point out.

  • If you don't like Larry Bird you are not a true Celtics fan....

  • @bordertown Whatever bro. No two players are EXACTLY alike. They both have their strengths and weakness. They play the same position and have comparable stats. To say that nothing like Bird has been seen since is a bit of a stretch, unless your waiting on a white guy with his skill.

  • @xSportsKingx

Doesn't necessarily mean Lebron is the better "player". He does well when it comes to individual stats, but in terms of getting your team involved there's no real equal. Larry can move without the ball and space the floor, which changes the complexity of the offense, much more multi-dimensional than Lebron's drive-ins and kick-outs. And I would reckon that Tayshaun's the best chasedown blocker of the past 10 years.

  • Bird=Best SF in history.

  • @blu12031985 Larry Bird would shit all over Dirk haha.

  • @bordertown Well Lebron averages more assists and more points. They average the same amount of steals, and nobody in NBA history is better than Lebron at tracking down and blocking fastbreak opportunities.

  • @xSportsKingx

True, Bird was better in the clutch, but he also had superior court vision with his skilled passing and his ability to play off the ball on top of his defensive prowess. It makes him a far more complete player than Lebron.
