  • @rexratties It is Hannukah, it's the 3rd night.

  • I thought it was great. Loved the song.

  • Best Flash mob ever!!! Happy almost Hannukah!

  • That was truly great

Ya know what, I agree with you (except on the bit about me being an ass). The Jewish ppl have survived despite all odds and yes the original land of the Jewish nation was MUCH bigger than it is today. I fully support Israel and all Jews, even you.

  • @Lagolop Alright! I'm not saying not to study. Keep doing what you are doing. But don't make claims about something that you are not very much aware of. like the DNA thing. I agree that many ashkanazi (if not all) have middle eastern common DNA. But they are mixed significantly. I'm not making stuff up. Its proven by research. If I was ashkanazi, I would argue the same thing with you. Facts are facts. That was my only beef with you. -SHALOM

I'm Canadian of European extraction. I am not a racist and my interest in Yiddish has nothing to do with belittling anybody. How odd that an interest I have makes you immediatey think that equals contempt for something else. On the contrary, I like and admire all Jews. The Ashkenazim speak (spoke) Yiddish, a Medieval High German language (which included Aramaic and Hebrew words) and one of the oldest Germanic tongues known. I am interested in old European dialects. That is all.
