@blancogurrl I hate when people use the line "the devil made me do it" ... There was a sickening story on the news at one time where a mother ATE her baby! She used the excuse "The devil made me do it" ... People need to quit blaming their actions on the devil and start blaming themselves for their own actions.

@BabyGangsta718 Why on earth should he get released for taking away a human life? I do not care what his "excuses" were, nor do I care of his age. When I was a kid, I knew right from wrong. I knew it was wrong to kill and so did he. Besides, if his victim's life was permanently taken away, than the murderer should have no fun. He should remain behind bars for life. He deserves no sympathy for his permanent actions. It's not as though he can do a resurrection on the boy!

@blancogurrl I'm so, so sorry to hear about your son, that's just dreadful and heartbreaking. Thank god you did what you could to build his self esteem and he would have known that while others were bigoted you loved, adored and cherished him. You sound like an amazing mum.

@Sallyallie89 everyone has an excuse for their wrong doings! No one wants to take accountability for their own actions...I am surprised this child did not say the devil made him do it!
I raised my boys to step in for a child who is being victimised by a base bully and to give the bully a taste of their own medicine... a quick clip around the ears and the threat of telling their parents with the possibility of calling the police to intervene. Bullies grow into adult bullies! Unless pulled up!

@popartpistol I had a red headed son ( sadly killed in a car accident@ 17yo.) teased mercilessly throughout school, but I told him to never let anothers' negative opinion of you become your opinion of yourself..and told him he was an elite..one of only 5% in the world!
Parents are required to build their childs' self esteem as it is a very cruel world out there and I don't see a change on the horizon!
