IIRC the trivia I read on some FF fansite, FF2's final boss theme got downgraded to regular boss theme in remakes while the final boss got a new music track.

i prefer the later final fantasy music,thats why i have some of em on my channel but i love 4 it was a cool game with awesome characters and a even cooler story
