Setting the Record Straight on Obama's Tax Ad

Barack Obama's campaign is running a TV ad called "Try This." The 30-second spot cites The Heritage Foundation and suggests we support his tax plan. Because the Obama campaign is playing fast and loose with the facts, Heritage has asked him to pull the ad. He has ignored our request.

If he reverts back to the old tax plan before Bush,then taxes will go up. If a couple has a taxable income of $60,000 a year, they had almost a 24 percent income tax cut since Bush took office.How can we afford the programs proposed without a tax increase? Esp in light of xtra money being paid OUT to those not working thru unemployment checks and all the tax revenue not coming IN from the paychecks that folks won't get. I pray he doesn't have to raise taxes,but think he will like Clinton did.

You are totally wrong! The color of skin has nothing to do with it. Since I believe the way to stimulate the economy through creating jobs, not increasing taxes on those who are working, you say that I am a racist? Wait and see if Obama can keep his promises without raising taxes. Regardless of who I wanted in the White House, I am supporting our new President-elect. I will pray for him every day.
