@animegal2686 The show did end in 86, so yes, this was the final season. the ratings dipped soon after Michael Larson broke PYL's bank with over $110,000. and yes, Rod Roddy was announcing TPIR in 86. I

Is it just me, or is PYL long-overdue for a Nostalgia Critic review?

They didn't. Everything I've seen seems to indicate that Price taped on weekdays (like they still do) while PYL taped exclusively on weekends, usually on Sundays.

It was the final season of PYL. From the time Johnny Olsen died in 1985, sub announcers were on TPIR until Rod was selected as the permanent replacement. PYL was taped next door to TPIR though I'm sure they didn't tape on the ame days.
