Miley-(walks into the room to talk to the theater to talk to the directo) Mrs. Smith can I talk to you please?
Mrs. Smith-sure
Miley-im not going to be able to do the play. Im sorry but I cant
Nick-(walks in) miley please can we just talk
Miley-no nick!
Mrs. Smith-thats a shame I saw the chemistry between the two of you and I thought you two would be perfect for the roles but I guess I cant force you. Your under study will take your place(walks off)
Selena-and who would that be?
Emily-(walks in with a smirk and wraps her arms around nicks neck) that would be me
Nick-im sorry and you are?
Demi-shes the new Selena only 10 times worse
Emily-(glares at her) look bitch
Selena-(steps forward) look bitch what? Im sure you havent forgotten that little discussion we had right?
Emily-whatever(wraps her arms around nicks waist) so nicky when are we going to practice our lines
Miley-(roles her eyes and walks out)
Nick-well this is going to be interesting(pushes Emily off of him) first off its Nick second we can practice during rehearsals and third dont touch me like that(walks out to try and catch up with miley but shes gone)
Mitch-(runs after him with Demi and Selena) Nick!

Nick-whats the point guys? Give me one good reason why I should stick with this and constantly be turned down?!

Selena-nick she really needs you

Nick-(throws his hands up in the air) show her what?! I have no idea what you guys are talking about! Maybe if I did I would understand but I dont! so either tell me or I leave and I wont try!

Demi-(pleading) please nick she needs you

Mitch-no we cant

Selena-yay! (runs up to him and hugs him)
Nick-(pushes her off gently) ya ya okay whats the plan? And please tell me it includes getting her back in the play cause if I have to kiss that(points to Emily) then im gonna have to kill myself
Mitch-(laughs) okay heres the plan
***they walk off and explain the plan to nick***
***later that night around 7pm***
Miley-Im not going up there!
Selena-miley come on!
Demi-its been 2 years!
Mitch-arent you the slightest bit interested to find that letter and read it
Miley-NO! im not going up there! Just leave!
***they argue back and for the for 15 minutes***
Tish-(walks in) okay guys im sorry but thats enough. If shes not ready then shes not. I think its time for you guys to go home
Selena-but tish
Tish-no thats enough for tonight
Demi-ugh fine!
***all walk out with Tish***
Tish-(whispers to them) I know what you guys planned but just give her time she will come to her senses
***they walk up to the tree house***
Nick-(turns around) shes not coming is she?
Selena-im sorry nick we tired. But she wont budge
Mitch-give it some time
Demi-were going to head home. But her mom said you can stay in there as long as you want
Mitch-but nick if she does come out. Please dont make any sudden moves or make her feel trapped and I wouldnt even touch her unless she touches you first

NICKS POV
After they left I turned back around and walked around the tree house. I found one of our old pictures. I picked it up and brushed off the dust with my hand. And I gently rubbed my hand back and forth over I felt a tear roll down and land on the frame. Miley what was going on? What do they mean when they say you need me or you need me to show you its okay? No sudden moves? dont touch her unless she touches me? dont make her feel trapped? These were only questions that she could answer and I needed to find out. The desperation in their voices made it sound as if it was almost life threatening. Was it? Was she sick? Was she dying? What have I missed in the past 2 years? Will I ever figure any of this out? I needed to talk to her and I obviously needed to help her, but how can you help someone who isnt willing to even talk to you? I slowly slid down the wall and sat there just staring at the picture regretting the fact that I never called.
