This is a motorized display housing that i hand built to use in a vehicle to flip out a Lcd out of a dash. When not in use it will retract back into the dash. It currently has manual controls but a Pic chip could be used to control the unit to work automatically when the ignition is turned on and off.

  • if you can't find it build it!

  • I was going to run this with a microchip pic or stamp but started another project.

like your display, blum hinges do the trick

  • Is it possible to at least tell me where you get your equipments from and what you need to get this up and running? or did you do this all from scratch from PCB soldering and wiring?

  • @LHLXD

this is all from scratch the frame for the lcd is made out of picture framing aluminum the track to move it in and out was from a cd changer the electronics for the servo control to move it up and down were hand made.
