really good teaching and details thanks for sharing @3:31 when you step on the leg why not just finish it there. What I would do is drop from stepping on it to pulling back and kneeling on it, then have a nice ankle finish

Very cool and very smooth. I could really see that working well, especially with (as you said) some other sweep attempts setting it up.
I notice you didn't mention taking the back from there. Reason?

I've seen Romulo Barral in this position. He just grabs the belt (gi) and sits on the back, or if nogi he let's the leg drop and grab the leg, but doesn't put the guy on his back. Just an observation. Love your no-gi videos.

@VanAvery Not sure exactly what you mean. I've found that for me personally, the hip heist out of half guard is generally a failing maneuver (though that could just be me).

Do you think it is worth taking the knee bar midway through the sweep? It seems like it is right there for the taking.
