Michigan ranks third in the nation in car-deer accidents, and Kent County leads the state with over 2,000 crashes each year.

  • Scanning the side of the road is much harder to do at night and a lot of these suburban/rural roads dont have any street lights making it almost impossible to see the sides of the road even with high beams on

  • This video is terrible. it accident was not in any way her fault. it was a freak accident. That man made it sound as if it was her fault. LIke that she wasn't paying attention. This is terrible. Its rude to the family and painful for her friends. HORRIBLE! NO one knows if she was following to close.

  • I slow down at dusk/night; usually around 45 mph tops on back roads. It has saved me from deer accidents on a couple occaisions. Things don't happen so fast and it is much easier to slow down from 45 than from 55-60.
