A young boy is captivated by a carousel horse and steals a waiter's tip for just one ride. When the horse is replaced by a racing car, the boy follows the horse, an adventure that takes him to a flea market and the eventually to the house of a cruel child who has become the horse's owner.

Oh, wow!! This brings back some memories; memories of elementary school, film projectors, and things getting caught in my eye! God, I loved this film! I can't believe I finally found a clip of it! But I NEED TO SEE THE REST OF IT (at least once more before I die)! The little kid starts carrying the carousel horse around the city!! *sniff* I got something caught in my eye again! First "Winter of the Witch", now this!...

I remember this story from when I was little, about five years old. I was probably about the same age as the little boy who loved his wooden horse. Seeing this again fortysomething years later braught a tear to my eye. Thank you for posting!

I'm looking for:

UNKNOWN TITLE, live action: circa 1970's. Young boy gets brown teddy bear for Christmas but wanted a white bear. Takes bear with him on a train & tells the bear that he wants white one instead. At the North Pole he asks Santa for a white teddy bear, but is told that he has to hand over the brown teddy bear. He leaves, and the brown teddy bear is seen at the end with a tear in his eye as the boy goes home without him.
