the exploited have to be one of my favorite bands. they have been around for 30+ years and are still making bad ass music!

Thanks for the post as a punk @ 50 ouch..I heard the ramones and the psitols and many more all have their place and even the new stuff..being a PUNK is about being YOU without the need to argue over whos all that it was bad ennough way back in the early 70s trying to book a gig let alone anything else as long as you enjoy it thats the main thing if not DONT LISTEN..SIMPLE.. thanks for the post of this anyway ..

thats not realy true. im only 13 now so i havnt been to gigs in the far past but i love punk. but isnt punk about enjoyin the music? so aslong as any punk band has a good beat and audience particapation it can be enjoyed even if it has a singer like charlie harper or joey rammone:P

I said I liked the Ramones, they were quite enjoyable and a great counterpart to the typical punk mindset of the time (back in the day punks were real assholes unfortunately). A classic example : Ramones vs. The Sex Pistols. Most punks pick the Pistols as the heavy favorite even though not one of them could play worth shit. The scene back then was mostly image over ability, rhetoric over actual knowledge.
