This battle music was originally conceived and composed during a 48 hour game making marathon at the Queensland University of Technology for a competition called "fab48hr" in which teams of 6 used the aforementioned time to create a video game from scratch. The game in which this music was originally intended for (Badger Clan Wars) is not complete.

Heard this originally while browsing the team dropbox directory (I thought it was David Larsen's). I thought then that it had a spectacular piano, and the supporting instrumentation was amazing.

Upon hearing it now I'm very jealous. I do feel that it's a little on the quiet side though.

@HandyTheXxxX I've likewise heard as much. That actually makes me squee a little even though I only saw Midnight Castle, it gives the villains some context within Equestria!
