TW sucks ass man. The service is really shitty and the worst part is when I'm doing homework it will just shut whatever is playing off and ask me to press a button to resume playing. DirecTV OS way better in my mind

My mother in law just called asking me what "Mystro" was. I got on line and found out how many others have problems, you just have to assume that Time Warner is run by overpaid idiots with total job security. Very sad. I keep telling her to get DirecTV. It ain't perfect but sometimes a change is better than nothing.

I've had 6 SE DVR's and they all where junk....Now I have "New" Cisco box and it's still fucked up....not as bad, but they are maxxed out on system memory. TWC is simply taking on more than they can chew.

it has everything to do with Mystro, the type of cable box (model number more important than brand) and the wiring condition...don't just jump to conclusions and say SA is bad, or Warner is bad, it works fine at my place...

@Technione Appears your luck on the matter has been good, there are many who aren't as fortunate. Pinpointing the problem as being mystro or the box, wire etc doesn't matter. What matters is the person footing the costly bill gets to watch a black screen with "Please Wait.....", or the blue screen while the box resets over and over again.

then just switch to optimum its alittle bit more expensive than time warner but it sure causes alot less problems

That would be fine if we all lived in New York or Illinois. Optimum which is a Cablevision subsidiary just like Lightpath is not available nationwide like TWC's monopolizing arses.
