Just a note, Neil starts his harmonica on the 5 blow in this video (or so it sounds to my ear), but most of his other versions start out with the 4 blow (G-root note) ...you choose the version you like....

sounds like the pledge of allegiance when i try it...im positive im doing it wrong (or maybe it sounds different because im trying to do it so quietly since people are asleep). Can someone tell me how to see if i have a D harmonica or what? thanks!

@gitily The harp key should be stamped in a capital letter on the cover plate or on the comb somewhere. For this to sound like the video, it will need to be in the key of G. If its in any other key, it will sound like the song but wont match the recording. It takes a bit of practice... Good luck.
