Here I will show you how to make a custom hotshoe adapter that can attach to a hotshoe or a 1/4" thread quick release plate for a tripod! Cost to make this is about a couple bucks, but for about $5 to $6 you should be able to make four of these adapters. Please Like the video and feel free to subscribe for more videos!

  • thanks for this vid. I made one cause my canon camcorder has their smaller-than-standard shoe and the adapter is like $20.

(no hate, but i gotta agree, at first it confused me cause of the imagination thing. i got it eventually. what i do is wait to make a vid till i need a new one of something. but you can never have too many of these so i think you shoulda gone the extra mile)

  • @FrugalPhotog Yeah, I might remake a quicker version of this video and post it to my BTS channel. If you read this and like this idea, feel free to thumbs it up so I know its worth it. Thanks.

  • I'll have to add the T-nuts to my DIY arsenal. Great idea!

  • @krotoflik , hey no bad vibes here. I am just saying that your videos can be at another level and there is always room for improvement. Suggestion: time lapse the clipping/grinding of the T-nut, show more and lower the assumption that all viewers will understand or actually write to ask

  • @IsmaelMartinezPR Some things I believe are common sense and need no explaining beyond what was stated. I am happy to help anyone who needs it, but nitpick comments are not something that benefit a DIY community. Let me know if you truly need help making this and I will. Take care.

  • I like your effort, but if you are not willing to actually show how you cut the bolt and how it goes into the mike its only an effort. Its like a cooking show showing you the turkey, showing the stuffing but actually not showing how it goes in. You won't sacrifice a 99 cent bolt.

Every time you say, I already have my bolt here its like really!! missed opportunity.

  • @Knoptop Thank you and thanks for the channel add! :D

  • Great Tips @Knoptop
