Took my boys to the East Midlands Aeropark to see the exhibits, from there you can view the aircraft taking off & landing at East Midlands airport. We had a nice suprise to see a Spitfire take off for 10 minutes but i missed the shot as i was recording the floor and when i was supposed to REC i Paused!!!
I am an airside driver at this airport so it was nice to show my boys where i spend a lot of my time.

Its not the best view East Midlands Aeropark. The best bit is on the other side of the runway. When you walk pass the ILS bit and keep walking intill you see a bank. Stand on the bank and the planes come like 10 Metres away.
