Ryane Clowe Disallowed Goal 10/24

During the Sharks vs Panthers game on October 24, the refs ruled this as a "distinct kicking motion", disallowing it.
Later in the game it would be revealed that new rules state that if the puck deflects off any players skate before entering the net, it is not a goal. In this case, the puck pounced off the Panthers' Boynton, causing the goal to not count.
The goal was disputed for a good three minutes before the final ruling was made.
Clowe later scored a legitimate goal, on the same power play.
