Grazie cara Monica per il bel video. Ascoltare grandi voci "Storiche" come queste fa sempre piacere.
We can still hope :-) although... Today there is no interpretation anymore. Only 'notes' and not even correctly sung. Everybody sings with the same 'pseudo-techniques'. O tempora, o mores! What a joy indeed we have the old recordings. If only it was more widespread, only by listening to this kind of recordings actual 'singers' would learn enormously! Too bad they did not improve the recording techniques earlier. We needed it by then, by now... Well, not really anymore.

6:25 splendid singing "piangendo"
Just before 8:00 Ah, segnasti la tua sorte" excellent use of vocal emission for interpretation on the vowel A
Thanks for posting this gem of the OLD SCHOOL. Even if the voices may have been smaller than required, they had great TECHNIQUE and sense of STYLE.
A glimpse into a past that will never return. Today we get nothing but decadence.

A true classic of the gramophone by two patrician artists. Thanks!
