Actually it's really easy to patch them if you use a hopper and the actual mud to respray the bad area.....trick is to scrap back until the popcorn doesn't scrape off easily then prime ceiling to be sprayed with gripper paint and then spray with hopper and mud. It'll look just like brand new.

Same bad luck. Good thing i tried it in the garage first. The floor need repainting anyway.

I had bad luck with it too. It kept losing pressure and went all over the place. I had more texture on me than the ceiling. The drywall texturing stuff works pretty good but this stuff was a real disappointment.

LOL at the finished product shot... The fadeout occurs before you actually see the patched area, which looks like cr4p if you pause the very last second of the fadeout and examine carefully..

Popcorn ceilings cannot be patched, no matter what is used. The entire ceiling must be scraped and reshot for a uniform look.
