Cal the Footless Rooster, Happy and Running

Cal walks, talks and chases girls. He has recovered from having both feet amputated due to frostbite. He was abandoned with his sister Brooklyn in a park last March. We love him dearly and he loves life.

Also starring Miss Manor, a Black Sex Link hen who was abandoned last December, she too suffered frostbite and lost one whole foot and all the toes on her other foot. She runs real good and can fly 3 feet up to her sleeping quarters every night.

Co-starring also, Katie- a Red Sex Link hen who fell off a slaughter truck and broke her leg. It healed a bit shorter than the other leg but there isn't anything Katie can't do including dodge Cal.

He seems to be so happy. It always amazes me to see animals be able to over come their handicap. It certainly put a smile on my face and warmed my heart. You go Cal!!
