There's pictures on the web if you do an image search for the movie. Amazon would be the best place to get the movie and soundtrack, Ebay too.

The sequel was crap, saw it on TV once and thought it was a load of bullfuck. The original is an untouched masterpiece.

They renamed the character Mrs Brisby so that it wouldn't sound like Mrs Frisbee, which is the name of the flying disc toy here in America...

The music fits the atmosphere so well. This "is" the greatest movie ever forged from the human hand, it deserves much more respect than it's received , and i'm so glad to see people still talk about it and are falling in love with it. This movie is animation at is highest degree. I hope NIMH's secret lives on and rediscovered through the power that it brings.

@Johnlindsey289 Yes, this is a fabulous movie. I think that it's Don Bluth's masterwork, in fact. I thought Mrs. Brisby was cute too, as were her children.

Most agree, still this is a great movie don't you think? Mrs. Brisby is probably oen of the most adorable cartoon animals on film this side of Thumper, Flower and other cuddly critters.

@ChortortleC Well, they wouldn't necessarily have to be all CG. They could use animatronic puppets too just like they used to back in the 80's. I just think it would be interesting to see a live action version that's more faithful to the original story thats all.

I think that a live action version of this and The Last Unicorn would be pretty cool just as long as they are made by the same production company that made The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth and The Witches.

Since both The Secret of NIMH and An American Tail are both Don Bluth movies, sometimes 4:44-5:43 reminds of that scene from An American Tail where Fievel finds his family.
