How to jailbreak 1.1.2 on iPod Touch or iPhone!!

Jailbreak 1.1.2 files:

1. Install Oktoprep in the Tweaks (1.1.1) folder in installer.

2. Download the above files to a easy access place on your computer.

3. Once files are downloaded, make sure your iPod is connected to the computer, go into your iPod settings, hold Shift on your keyboard, and click Update. A window should pop up and you should look for the iTunes firmware 1.1.2 that we just downloaded.

4. When your iPod is done upgrading to 1.1.2. Go into Task Manager and check for processes that have to do with iTunes such as iTuneshelper.exe or iPod services and end them. I found you do NOT need to end the process Applemobiledivice.exe. If you do, iTunes won't recognize it and the jailbreak won't work.

5. When your iPod is done upgrading to 1.1.2, go back into iTunes and make sure that iTunes recognizes it, THEN click eject, but do NOT remove your iPod from the computer.

6. When you have clicked eject close out of iTunes.

7. Open up the 1.1.2 Jailbreak folder. and click the .bat file inside. Two windows should pop up and you should check install SSH, then click, Jailbreak.

8. The black screen will do a few things to your iPod and once it is done, you should get a Notice that says that your iPod is now rebooting and when done it will be jailbroken.

when i was going to Jailbreak my ipod 1.1.2 this error come up it says "this utility can be used if you already run OktoPrep before updating to 1.1.2

i downloaded it on intaller in 1.1.1 why does it not work?

what does it mean by RUN the OKTOPREP in 1.1.1?

you need to install Oktoprep in the 1.1.1 Tweaks folder on your ipod BEFORE you upgrade to 1.1.2. MAKE SURE that when you upgraded to 1.1.2 from 1.1.1 you clicked Upgrade instead of "Restore". there have been a few problems with this.

yeah dude i did this twice already.. still doesnt work. i downloaded 1.1.1 in got the installer, downloaded okto prep, then upated to 1.1.2. went to jailbreaker i pressed windows. then it says jailbreaker failed.. you must download okto prep before updating help

make sure when your upgrading the firmware to 1.1.2 you click "Update" and not "Restore. Someone else had this problem too.

If i have my iphone unlocked and jailbroken and i press the update will it reset my phone and re lock it?

I've jailbroken it up to 1.1.3 before so I am hoping the Oktoprep is still downloaded.. it doesn't show up in installer so I think it is. :D

I think yea gotta downgrade it to 1.1.1

Type in something on youtube like downgrade 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 and it there should be some videos that will teach you how to downgrade.

Once you've downgraded, you can follow this video to jailbreak the 1.1.2.

i wish i had 1.1.1 version, mine is 1.1.2 and it's harder to breakin, does anyone know how to breakinto 1.1.2 version iphone without using PC, just do it with the phone?? Anyone? I'm very technically challenged, :(
