This is the (Monochrome/Original) Gameboy Tetris. It was originally a pack-in w/ the system launch in 1989. This is the ending to type B, at level 9, high 5. This was my 1st Tetris game, so I like this for sentimentality, but I like the Nes ver. of this a little better.

No sign of a Gb VC on the DSi, yet. Even so, licensing for this would probably prohibit it (, & Nintendo) from (letting it) appearing, anyway.

  • On the topic of my 2 month old topic I'm guessing you need to kick ass in tetris to shove dancing russians into a rocket witch makes a musical rocket fuel way to be Eco friendly russia

  • So THATS what the people at NASA do to lift off rockets!

  • @twibkidx That would be highly amusing .

  • what does a rocket have to do with anything

  • @thespaceboon101 Ya know, I'm not really quite sure of that myself, lol.

By the way, i still have a game boy sp and the original tetris game pak :D i love that game. Too bad my gameboy color and gameboy advance dont work today... i wish i had an original gameboy to finish the collection :D

Maybe it has something to do with the space race, the soviets sent the first man to space, the first woman, the first thing alive and the first artificial satelite. the soviets won the space race, but americans went to moon, thats their only achievement..

Maybe they used these scenes to make you feel part of the project, on type b you launch Buran, in type A you launch a tiny rocket, something like a nuke and a soyuz depending on your score.

  • I'm gonna buy a Gameboy for the sake of memories and my childhood.

  • @DeloreandudeTommy Ahh I see. I had always thought space shuttles of this kind were United States productions.

  • @PoisonInc I don't think it's the American version of the space shuttle (the Orbiter), because the Russians made one called the Buran, it looked almost exactly like the American one, it only flew once (in 1993) and was unmanned, but it was destroyed a couple years later when it's hanger collapsed on it.

  • Am I the only one confused by what appears to be an American space shuttle launching in a Russian game? XD

  • now THIS is the one i remember!!!
