  • Brilliant song, magic!!!

  • @Jourdydogyella: Why not take real artists like Alfred Brendel and Vladimir Ashkenazy instead.

  • @paullubliner take artists like the beegees and michael jackson. comparible to mclaughlin not because of their musicality but their ability to create beautiful songs with great melodies and tone. your comment is just like saying don bradman was a shit cricketer because his technique was lacking. artists shouldnt be required to know the music world in and out to be recognized. i've been to Berklee where the metal players have great skill levels, but their music is disgusting.

  • @paullubliner im a singer/guitarist which of course means im not going to write a hugely complicated musical piece which i have to sing over. my genre doesnt require me to and thats something you need to get your head around. i too get extremely angry over the shit we have now with four chords and a synth track creating a song. thats why although i maintain a pop-rock style i add musicality to it. you shouldn't be condemning music like that because its not in superlocrian in 13/5.

  • @paullubliner not everything has to be classical music or sound like honneger's song. i'd think out of every artist we hear today, that someone with your apparently huge knowledge of music would appreciate the artistry of steely dan. the chords, lyrical genius, drum beats etc. nothing many musicians can replicate. musicians aren't inept because they dont jam in 9/4 time.

  • @Jourdydogyella You don't know a thing about me but you call me that. Makes you look very, very bad. Sonny boy, I'd love to see you TRY TO jam with John McLaughlin in 9/4 time. I'd like to see you attempt to sight read Music, or write music. Try listening to and follow along with Artur Honneger's Pacific 2-3-1. You are so inept, I will leave it there.

  • @paullubliner you are a fucking joke. these guys got an honorary doctor of music from Berklee, do you know what that means? that this group are utterly brilliant musicians. boring 4/4 time........youve got to be kidding. its extremely hard to get any other time signature to sound good. haha im not sure what kind of fucked up musician you are to call steely dan consumer pop, im really not. not every song has to be incredibly musically complicated or else it's shit you idiot.

  • was at the 96 stop here in west palm.....priceless

  • Hell yeah

  • @dit076 did u jizz during guitar solo?
