how much was the amp?
-
i have this pedal built into my digitech rp7 valve, and it actually gives a line 6 spider half stack killer tone!
-
i have this pedal and sounds great throught my shit yamaha amp,but why does it sound so horrible and digital when i play it throught a roland cube30x? is that a problem with the amp or pedal? help me out plz lol im having loads of trouble with this
-
well... I'm pretty esquisite with the distortions I use, I can only feel like myself playing when I'm using really high gain, over the roof high frequencies, kinda like Dimebag's (RIP) distortion. and digitech delivers that, as well as danelectro and mxr, but no amp distortion compares to that. but yeah thanks for the help bro \m/ I'll see if I can do some reasearch on electronics x'D

well get the amp and see how u like the sound of it first. The Grunge should work fine on the clean channel but honestly, the randalls have enough options for sound that you might be better off getting an od pedal to drive the preamp harder.
-
I don't use any modules because I don't have the amp yet. that's why I'm asking. but I was thinking about using it on the "Clean" preamp module...
-
just order it and try it out. If you arent blown away by it, send it back. What modules do you normally use?
-
by the way, that's some kickass metal playing man \m/

hey guys help me out here. I've been told digitech pedals (including the grunge pedal) sound like shit in valve amps. I wanted to buy a digitech grunge pedal to use on a randall rm100, which is actually a tube amp. help me out, would it sound bad? I mean, the amp costs around 1500€ (same with dollars I think) and I'm not about to waste that load of money to end up not liking it =/ please reply bros \m/
hello:) is this only with the pedal or you are using some of the amp dist? anyway, can you tell me how you do does "screamin" tones to? take care

grunge on the clean channel only. the "screamin" is called a pinch harmonic, you pinch the string with the pick, it takes a little practice to figure it out. but over time they become very easy.

okay, shall i hold any special tone on the fret board or is it a lose string?thx *^^

its kind of hard trying to explain how to do it. in your youtube search engine, type in pinch harmonic lessons. there are some great video's that show the correct way to do it.
