He said the Daytona was CAPABLE of doing 150. He said nothing about that being its top speed.

@tdnk11 Noo the ones they used mostly had 318's in them. some of the bigger jumps had 440s in them but im pretty sure they never jumped a hemi. They used them as "hero" cars for the close up scenes
-
no they used a 440. came stock. if you wrecked a few cars a show why would you go through the trouble of putting a hemi in there. Maybe cars that they had to do huge stunts with had a hemi
-
@bandit3271980 I did. Learn your facts. Look it up.

@Jbrew1994 BS LEARN YOUR FACTS

He was wrong. The Dodge Charger used in the Dukes of Hazard usually had a 426ci. Hemi, which had more power than the 440 magnum that they used rarely.
-
Me I prefer the 2005 film version with the HEMI

host, got info wrong the 69 Charger Daytona has been clock at 200 and then those restrictor plates where made shortly after.

@DukeBoyJman01 brush guard covers the whole front end of a vehicle (bumper, grill, lights ect.) bull/push bar is used for just that to provide protection when pushing things out of your way.
FAIL! 150mph on the super speedway....more like 210,215mph.
