it is not uncommon for thunderstorms to set off car alarms. car alarms are being equipped with so many sensors vibrations from trucks or buses passing by, cars with loud music and even thunder set off a car alarm.

I was in washington when this happend, i always miss the san diego storms, the last one i was in was back in 04!!!!!!!!

Oh man, i remember that one too well xD. I remember i couldnt sleep so i just looked out the window while listening to some dragonforce ha ha.. What about all the freakin tornado warnings the previous days, huh??
