Sonoma Valley: Surf Fish

When we were looking for partners in crime in the West Side of Sonoma, I discovered my old friends from Crested Butte, Geordie and Mieko Carr lived literally two blocks away. And, even better, Geordie was making wine they loved to eat huge dinners with good beer. Geordie previously worked for Enkidu, and managed the custom crush at their 8th St. winery. He and Mieko are now launching their own label, Bump Wine, which currently consists of a Sonoma Valley Zin and a Syrah. We visited recently and filmed the first ever Bump winemakers dinner, pairing local Zinfandel with local free range minnows. This piece is called Surf Fish. We wish you well, Geordie and Mieko!
