My uncle, the most excellent, evolved bioguy EVER, taught me when you start getting sucked into that BroDude tyranny you need to just disengage from it, you have to ask yourself Does any of this person's crap actually have to do with me, or is it all their own ignorance and insecurity? I've been on both sides where I've been the asshole BroDude and I've been the butt of their jokes. My best solution has been to be the bigger man and outwit the motherfuckers or ignore them or kick their ass.

I feel the same way. They are the rot of civilization. You shouldnt have to learn to accept them. They should be shot into the fucking sun.

It is difficult to be accepted and integrated into the Men's World,Thank God not all Men are like that and there are a Lot of Tolerant and Supportive ones.

I've noticed myself slipping into that thinking, too, and I wish I had the answer. I think it's difficult to counteract those feelings when we hear and see things or learn about violence against people in our community and it's committed by someone who could be characterized as a "brodude" or mr. macho, mr. muscle, etc. I wonder if there's a way to seek out "brodudes" who go against the stereotype in a way that is safe and constructive...? Hm...Knowing just one person helps sometimes.

There are some trans guys that are total BroDudes, so it isn't just cis guys that act like that.
Personally, I just like to remind myself that they may get what they deserve one day.

I think that you have to appreciate that there are cliques.
There always has been and there probably always will be.
Me personally, I'm none too keen.
It is a tough balancing act at times.
Especially when the weight of public opinion screams of contradiction.
Society is a very strange and often ignorant thing.
I hope the issue was resolved?
