Well it sounds like you have all the answers, I'm sure you have done your research. I have actually read a book or two on the subject and don't get all my education from the TV and Internet.

Its scientifically logical - more CO2 increases plant size and production. They have used this in greenhouses for years (CO2 Generators ...look it up) and prehistorically there was an enormous amount of extra CO2 in the air which is why Dinosaurs grew so large as did everything.
