  • these are cool - whenever I water moss too much it dies - how does it survive inside a tank of water?

  • @1Serval Well they survive because these are aquatic species of moss. :D

  • does this stuff grow everywhere or can you keep it in one area ?

  • @Gixxr11 One area of what? A tank? It grows on any surface it's attached to.

  • @Gixxr11 Well if you don't trim it and let it grow freely, it will. Keeping the plants in order is a part weekly maintenance routine.

  • What kind of moss is that? sorry for noob question but im new to aquarium

  • @ostmash You'll find the complete list (bcs there is more than 1 species) in one of my other videos.

  • i have a 35 litre (9 gallon?) tank and i am new to aquariums and i'm about to buy my first plants for my tank and was wondering if i could have some tips about moss (btw i have 5 neon tetras, 4 rummy nosed and im planning on getting 5 Cochu's blue tetras)

  • if u cut a moss ball to peices and spread it around ur tank would they grow

  • nothing beats moss for breeding fish

  • @Gixxr11 - I found it in Lake Onatario. Not as pretty as these; it was more algae-like than like moss.

  • @A11ex - then I have seen a form of these in Lake Ontario as a child. They float and were about 1.5 inches in diameter. Not the pretty green like these, and not so tailored. At the time I thought it was waste water with something growing on it.

  • 1:40 is all it takes to tour the paradise Eden? :) you're kidding me right? ;D

  • @A11ex I was just wondering if you can get it to not grow on sand or gravel
