  • @4alexza I disagree. The phantom in the book is a total psychopath. He puts Raoul and his old friend(ish) from Persia in a legit torture chamber and threatens to blow up the whole opera house. Of course, we are supposed to feel sympathy for him too, but we're also supposed to be horrified.

  • This and the 2004 version are my favourites.

The Phantom in this one was so mellow and human; I could really connect with him. Gerard Butler was the more kickass hero of my dreams though but less likely to really exist.

  • ha..the phantom is the guy from the golden child and last action hero and Ali G. in da house hehe...

  • @jenniijennjenn I completly agree. This one is so loving, and the phantom is sweet and unloed. but the 2004 version is just beast with the actors/actresses, the make up, the plot, and the speciale effects!!

  • i loved the love story of this one, but i loved how the 2004 version did their movie.. i loved the effects, and it was more on singing...

  • i would have liked more singing
