Free Hugs In Causeway Bay Hong Kong 21-4-2007

Hello, My name is Benny Yuen. I inspired by Juan Mann Free Hugs Video so i tried it in causeway bay , Hong Kong at 21st April 2007.

I designed and printed some sticker by myself. " I free Hug Today ! " it's what i wrote on the sticker , i hope people will remember we free hug that day and how happy of that.

i would like to remind people, Free Hugs wasn't a way to make yourself become famous, try to think about what free hugs means to the world and what free hugs want to make people understanding.

I don't want people make Free Hugs become a group or an organization, cause i don't think free hugs should be a group activity . Free hugs shoule be make others think about themselves of the relationship between social and stranger thought Hugging motion. i worried that someday people will group a Free Hugs orginaizion , people gather up to shout " Free Hugs " on the street is For Fun and for famous himself, and that's not "Free Hugs" means to human being. If you want to make a Free Hugs, i suggest you should spend lot of time to study what Free Hugs means and what message what to bring out .


Free Hugs 免費擁抱
對香港人來說 , 比起共產的中國來得更奇怪
" 免費 Free " 一詞
在香港是等同 " 不可能 Unbelieveable "
" 自由 Free " 一詞
香港人應該看不懂
" 擁抱 Hugs " 一詞
對香港人來說 , 看得明 , 聽得懂
但只在於 做愛 或 嫖妓 中出現


Juan Mann Free Hugs的始創人說 :
" 因為只要有一個人跟我擁抱，就會帶動從旁經過的五個路人臉上的微笑。"

Shimon Moore " All The Same " 作曲人說 :
" 生活在全球氣候變暖和不斷的戰爭、槍殺之中，電視每天播放著這麼多問題，我們已經習慣於關閉自己，讓自己麻木。今天如果有誰被槍 打中了腦殼，大家都不覺得奇怪，但一個人張開雙臂去擁抱他人，這麼一個很簡單的事情，卻突然變成一個全球性的爆炸性事件，這表明 了甚麼？"

( 我不認為free hugs應該是一個集體活動,也不認為free hugs應該是一個組織. 這不是一個課外活動, 免費擁抱所帶出的是要人去反思自己在社會上的角色, 焦點不在擁抱的人, 是在於反思的旁人身上. 免費擁抱的意識和形態上看似很簡單, 但實際所令人值得思考的是這個行為與動作對世界的影響. 因此我擔心免費擁抱將會變成一個為了有趣,表演,出位的集體遊戲, 便它變得兒戲. 我鼓勵你走出來"free hugs", 但我更希望你花一段時間去研究免費擁抱是什麼, 它帶出什麼, juan mann在free hugs上表達了什麼, 嘗試感動自己, 才能感動別人. ) 20/5


free hugs不是一個用作突出自己的方式
大家都不要將焦點放在我 Benny 身上 ,
而要將焦點都集中在 " Free Hugs " 背後所顯申及所要諷刺的問題上 .

這究竟是一種 行為藝術 ? 個人發洩 和 反諷 或是 一種新宗教 ?
暫時我也想不通
但現在的
我只想為香港出一點綿力
只想香港人 拒絕冷漠
只是香港人一笑 然而

This Video made me cryyy for 1 minute.. its so hard 2 get a job in HK tht was bcuz i'll never win the heart of the chinese.. and eveytime i walk in the busy rich same place i just fade away..when u said all we need is love it means all we need is to accept sth as they are..
