  • My god cameras have come so far from my vhs camera, just look at that picture!

  • This is an excellent test of the HVX 200ap in variable lighting situations. Thanks for posting this. Are you planning to use a DOF adapter for your next test? It would be nice to see with the light conditions you've defined. Thanks!

  • what was your shutter speed set at?

  • Thanks for posting! we liked the first tests best the lighting looked very natural. The image quality is great very broadcast cinema like. The cost of the camera makes a kind of high though!

  • not worth 3000 dollars

  • @samhain138666 DSLR's really aren't designed to shoot video, and it shows in the way they chew batteries and pack up your cards in no time flat. The image quality is superior no doubt, but depth of field and low light performance isn't film making, and generally, it's the functionality, practicality and reliability that will put it on top at the end of the day. Look at this way - if you're planning to document a three month trip through Africa, a 5D MKII is not going to be your first choice.

  • how does this compare to the hmc-150

  • it's fucking bulshitt

  • i love this camera. ive used it from my school. I really hate to say it but I will garantee that my canon 7d or a 5d mark 2 could do much better lighting. only downside to dslr's is the horrible h.264 compression :(. at least its got great 4.2.2 color space
