NASA losing space race?

The Augustine Committee report is making recommendations to the White House regarding the future of NASA's human space-flight programs. The Obama administration has been making cuts to such programs and, apparently, due to financial restrictions plans to return to the moon anytime soon are a no-go as well. Experts say that space exploration should be a priority for the federal government; however, it remains unclear to what extent the Obama administration will take these suggestions into consideration. RT's Dina Gusovsky asks Berin Szoka from the Space Frontier Foundation.

You have to go to the moon in order to go back. They are proving that they never went to the moon. If moon is the issue, just fucking team up with other countries to cut the cost, it's bullshit. @the0th I think you need to rethink your statement. The reason for new space achievement is FUNDING and PRIORITIZING by the people in charge of the budget. Scientists have nothing to do with it but engineers do.

Being first or achieving a certain step does not mean you are ahead - merely you did it first.
