Footage of Whitetails seen along side of the road. The first one is a very young deer probably just out on it's own. The next deer is a young buck, or "spike" as we call them. Look carefully just above his eyes and you can see the antlers beginning to emerg. They appear to be a couple, maybe 3 inches long, they're hard to see on the video. He is just growing in his antlers. Male deer regardless of age lose their antlers every year and re-grow new ones. They grow quickly and will be fully grown back in to the size they were when they were shed, no matter the size they were before. And finally, you will see a doe and her twin fawns.
Thanks!

    Thanks for watching.;)

  • I like it when people take appreciation for these wonderful creatures and to break the stereotypes that deer are a menace. They only attack when threatened and they don't usually bother humans. They are curious creatures! I wish hunters would stop spreading destructive lies about these beautiful and graceful deer!

  • Thanks for watching. I agree with you. Deer for the most part are peaceful creatures. Only during the rut/breeding season, will males attack. When they attack they can kill a human. Their hooves are like razor blades. So be careful and always respect wild animals.:)

  • They are sooo cute!

  • Is the deer wearing a mask that burglars wear at 3:09?

  • I have been wandering out into a field each evening at 7 or 8pm when the deer seem to be more active and meeting them out there. I was surprised when they began to actually accept my presence, and relax enough to graze, scratch, poo, play etc. They still look at me quite a bit, and ocassionally a buck or doe will approach me curiously. I've got a little bit of footage. I may post up a video as I collect more. I agree, deer are beautiful, elegant creatures. A joy to watch!

  • Yeah, I've hit several. Fortunately, the last one ran away, unharmed, my car unharmed as well.:) We were walking our property today, saw tracks left by a huge buck. We don't hunt, others are welcome to it if they choose, except on my land.:)

    Thanks for watching.
