Tab Benoit "Voice of the Wetlands" speaks in Houma, LA 04/27/09

Tab Benoit hosted a special event at the Houma/Terrebonne Airport in Houma, LA
to spread awareness of the vanishing wetlands in southern Louisiana. He and a few of his pilot friends took folks up in 4 seater planes for a first hand look at the stark contrast between the land that has washed out into the gulf and the land where the folks in Houma reside. This clip is Tab's introductory speech to the guests before going up for the air tour - note that at the end of the talk he gives a tutorial on how to properly use the provided ziploc bags in case of motion discomfort... (it was a great flight and very educational!)

i just want to thank Tab for this info. i live in Louisiana and wasn't aware that we are losing that much land. it's scary and we do need to get the word out so we can do something about this. we have a wonderful state and we have to pertect it....

Tab tells it like it is, one of the smartest musicians, people that is talking about what is REALLY going on down here. I wish he'd run for office, we need people like him making some decisions in this country!
