What a wonderful view of the viaduct . In his younger days my father worked at Mellands Bleachers in Heaton Mersy, he lived almost in Offerton, it was a long walk to work so a gang of lads decided to take a short cut across the viaduct.
For two days ok - the third day they found M/c Police coming towards them so they turned back & found Stockport Police waiting.
He was find one shillling and ninepence. Lot of money in the late thirties.

I lived in stockport for 37 years and now live in Ontario Canada and it makes me nostalgic to see that as I was a bus driver for a couple of years back in the 90's.

Glad you liked the video, what Bus did you drive? I reguarly use the 330 and the 192. I have in past been on the 389 the 11 and very occasionally the 381.
