Here is a video of Shadowrun for the Mega CD. The video shows the beginning cinemas and a little bit of the beginning gameplay. Shadowrun was the last Mega CD ever released....

  • @UltimateHigh even if that FPS reboot had good gameplay, the fact remains that it is not Shadowrun, their was none of that Cyberpunk atmosphere, it needed to be more of an immersive experience... like Deus Ex.

  • @clone63742 Funfact; All three versions (SEGA Gens/MD SEGA CD and SNES) were done by three seperate Developers in different Continents. (The Gens from USA the SNES from Australia and the SEGA CD from Japan).

  • ok, after watching this, replaying the original fallout games, and then looking at the new ones made, developers SERIOUSLY butchered amazing game franchises, just to make them first person "adventure" games i say we all band together, and demand a reboot of the classic games. Microsoft has Shadowrun, and i think fallout is forever lost to Bethesda, and i dont forsee any way to fix X-com, which is a sad shame. WE DONT NEED ANY MORE FPS GAMES!!!

  • Ah fuck. Shadowrun was my favorite setting ever.

If there was an Evercrack-style MMPORG of it, I might actually pay for it, that's how bad-ass the theme was.

  • @apex2000 no english version was ever produced.. officially...

  • @anonymouschan different gamea?

  • @NeoToasty - Indeed. But fret not my dear runner! We can cross our thumbs in hope that the new browser based (horror moment already) Shadowrun Online is made true to it's content and all <3

  • @apex2000

I'm just a player. I've seen the spoonyvid, but that was after reading about DMSO. No one in my group uses DMSO, but mostly because its the kinda crap none of use would want to deal with if we were to GM for the next few runs. Truthfully I've never scrutinise the rules for the squirtgun or the splash grenades, didn't seem important.

  • @afivey you a player, or a Spoony Fan, or both? (was a fun tale of woe) imagine if someone pitched a movie on shadowrun, but got hung up on a DMSO broken game they had.... yeah it set in the future, and these guys are taking down police + securty with virus + poison filled super soakers, oh and can penetrate armour. The Matrix with Liquid Time. Psssh Psssh.

  • @apex2000

DMSO. Where water pistols meets the post apocalyse. :D

  • I finished the Shadowrun from SNES and from Genesis... I didn't knew there was one for Mega CD. (*_*)

    Going to download!

I even didn't knew that Shadowrun was an actual RPG. (O_o)

Discovered that only now, a few minutes ago. (=p)

A shame what they did with the X-Box Shadowrun.

So many ways to improve it... (=\)

  • is there a english version of his game? also should I be saying DMSO?
