Is it like the US where there are good and bad police? Or is the entire police force in Taiwan corrupted and incompetent? (I guess the later is plausible since Taiwan is so small.)

@beecee27 I find this question odd. My father was a police officer in Canada and Canadian cops are probably less corrupt than American cops.....and even so he said you'd be lucky to find one in a hundred that didn't abuse his power for personal gain. Plus I'm a psych major and we did a whole unit on the fact that the only people who want to become police....are those that shouldn't. So with these things in mind....I'm guessing that the vast majority are corrupt in any country. But not all.
