It's funny how this term " woodgas " has become so common. Of course ALL wood stoves are wood gas. It's just that some are more efficient than others. Wood gas is also commonly known as smoke. If ANY type of wood fire ( fireplace, woodstove, campfire, cookstove ) is smoking then it is running inefficiently. With proper design ( like this stove ) all the gas/smoke is burned and you have a nice clean flame with no smoke. With enough oxygen the flame gets hotter, brighter and eventually blue.

A computerized Stove huh! How many GB does it burn up?
Hydrogen, Prcoessing "biofuel", so what ya working on?
Careful ATF or NSA don't come after ya!

Good stove and these stoves need computer fans!! What did you think!

Sad that the design is concealed as though it didn't work the exact same way as every other Wood/Gas stove. Not sad that the viewer can't see it, just sad that Dee felt the need to keep his "design" a secret.

Woodgas stove ? Why can`t I believe it ? :((

Computer fan? Bullshit man!

I made one with a coffee can and a smaller tomato can using a utility knife and drill in about 10 minutes. Works great without a fan! Not as hot of course. Nice blue jets come out top holes.

That is amazing...

reminds me of a forge, well if you were in the bush you could make yourself a knife
tin? that wouldn't last too long you should of used stainless steel coz it will last longer but you have done such a good job you want it to last

I used what I had. any way it was a prototype to test a concept and to prove an idea.

Remember this is an experiment or prototype...The "secret" is a heat shield inside that keeps the plastic fan from melting and keeps debris from falling into the fan. The fan blows up into the burn chamber.
The stove works with or without the fan. A simple reostate would regulate the flame size. High flame is excelent for quick boils in an institutional setting.
