Model 1 Sega CD Lens fix "Does not read disc" (for Snestastic)

Hey, this is just a video showing how to fix the Model 1 Sega CD Lens problem. I am making it for Snestastic in particular, but if someone else might need to do this, this is the way I did it and the system works perfectly now.

By the way if that guy never gets back to you, and you end up having to do the refund on paypal, you may as well try fixing it THEN! haha

lol true dude,he emailed me this morning well probably last night but I got it this morning, anyway he wants me to chase the post office for the refund as the sega cd is insured for the full amount of $80 but I told him to sort it out as its his responsibility as its the United States Postal Service so Im just waiting for a response now :)

Damn, that sucks , sound like he is blaming it on their shipping and he's not gonna pay you back? But why would YOU conatact the postal service #1 you didn't ship it and 2 you aren't even in the US... You may have to cancel at paypal in the end anyway if he's acting like this.

@CuteHamsterChannel I fixed mine:) Q tip and alcohol on the lens..You have to take your sega cd apart though..I found a how to video a while back on YT :)

Getting to the eye on a model 2 is even easier. Just pop the top open and there it is. I'm going to try it and hope to goodness that solves my problem, since I'm having the same error. Considering the fact that the system had a lot of dust on it when I got it down and I never had any problems with it before, that may very well be the issue.

I need to ask you a qusetion man!! I just got a model 1 yesterday...But it wont play games! It works but only takes me to audio screen with the opttion to "eject" or "options" Options only takes me to memory (etc)...DO YOU KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO!?!?

Bloody annoying as hell, I hate when sellers are real cool when you wanna buy their item and then after sales they don't wanna know you grrr :)
