Wow. I am scheduled for surgery on 8/31. Interested in your opinion now if it was worth it or not. I am male and also have ruptured disks

OMG OMG OMG!! I'm so sorry you had to go through this scare so early out in your surgery and have to get surgery #2! I'm so happy you're feeling better! Thanks for sharing your experience. Take Care and no more scares!!!

My husband had a leak as well and we couldn't figure out if it was just when he drank, so I gave him some diluted grape juice and sure enough, his dressings turned purple. Just like you, they didn't do anything, but just had us watch it and call with any changes. It was weird to see him drink, then have the liquid come right out of his body.

omg!!! scary! my surgery is in a week, and i already have a hiatal hernia that my surgeon is going to fix when he goes in. do you know if it was hiatal or duodenal? hope you feel better!!!
